We are delighted to announce that our North Bristol Liver Unit (NBLU) has been awarded level 1 accreditation for the Royal College of Physicians ‘Improving Quality in Liver Services’ (IQILS) accreditation scheme.
NBLU has been working hard since May 2018 to gather the evidence and is one of the first ten units in the country to achieve this, highlighting the high standard of care delivered by the unit.
IQILS is a national programme focused on improving and standardising the quality of medical liver services throughout the UK.
Over the next 12 months, NBLU will be working towards achieving level 2 accreditation. Congratulations to all involved.
