Funding Opportunities

NBT is the 6th ranked NHS Trust in England for attracting Research Capability Funding (RCF) from the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR)

NIHR is the main funder of applied research in England. We use this RCF to invest in NBT staff who are keen to develop research projects and careers. We are also supported by the Southmead Hospital Charity, using charitable donations to fund important, small research projects.

For larger amounts of funding

We also provide Support for External Funding Applications, if you have a larger project/programme of work in mind.
