Condition / Indication: Primary Addison's disease 60-88%. Antibodies to steroid producing cells (e.g. corpus luteal cells of ovary) cross react with adrenal cortex. If considering the possibility of X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy as a possible cause of Addisons in males of any age, advise testing very long chain fatty acids.

Special precautions & notes: Store at 2-80C prior to referral.
