Special precautions & notes: Two major vasculitis associated patterns - 1)C-ANCA (cytoplasmic, usually anti-PR3 positive) associated with Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Wegener's) (>80%), Microscopic Polyangiitis, Eosinophilic Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Churg Strauss).  2)P-ANCA (perinuclear, often anti-MPO positive) seen in Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Wegener's), Microscopic Polyangiitis, Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Churg Strauss). N.B. P-ANCA (anti-MPO positive or negative) also seen in CTD (e.g.rheumatoid, SLE) with or without vasculitis, in some infections or may be drug induced..
