Condition / Indication: Antithrombin deficiencies may be heritable or acquired and are associated with increased risk of thromboembolism.
Special precautions & notes: Usually requested as part of Thrombophilia screen. Test should be requested alongside a clotting screen. Samples cannot be underfilled, overfilled, clotted , contaminated or aged (>24 hours).
