Test name: Anti-Xa a.k.a. Low Molecular Weight Heparin Monitoring

Condition / Indication: To quantitatively measure the amount of FXa inhibition by unfractionated heparin (UFH), low molecular weight heparin (LMWH), or direct oral anticoagulants.

Special precautions & notes: Cannot use underfilled, overfilled, clotted , contaminated or samples aged (>24 hours).

Reference range: Therapeutic 1.0 – 2.0 U/ml (od dosing). 0.5 - 1.0 U/ml (bd dosing). Prophylaxis 0.1 - 0.4 U/ml.
