Special precautions & notes: If hypoglycaemia is suspected, prior to giving glucose take a Fluoride (grey top) sample for glucose. Ideal sample is EDTA, but lithium heparin and SST tube also accepted.

Reference range: Interpretation depends on glucose level at the time of collection. Reference range/interpretation quoted on report provided by referral laboratory.
