Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm
Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays 10am - 1pm

Change to card-only payments

From Monday 1 April, following a successful trial, the Pharmacy in the Brunel building at Gate 12, Level 1, will only be accepting card payments.

This will apply to prescription charges and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines only.

For those unable to pay by card, the nearby Cashier’s Office can help with handling cash payments. Some OTC medicines are also available to purchase using cash payments at the Amigo shop near the Brunel building's main entrance.

Dispensing Services

Prepares medication for in-patients, some out-patients & patients being discharged.

Ward Pharmacy Services

A clinical pharmacist is assigned to most wards at Frenchay and Southmead hospitals.

Clinical Trials

Clinical trials are undertaken to develop better medicines.
