Bristol Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Care Centre

The Bristol Motor Neurone Disease (MND) care centre was established in 2012 as one of 21 specialist MND centres, recognised & funded by the Motor Neurone Disease Association in collaboration with the NHS.

We are a regional centre (seeing people from Bristol, Bath, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire & further afield) that works closely with local community teams to ensure excellent care & support for people living with MND, their families & carers.

We also see people with related conditions and those for whom the diagnosis is unclear.

MND Clinics

Clinics are held on Tuesday afternoons at Gate 36, level 1, Brunel building, Southmead Hospital.

MND Appointment

We will ask you questions about your health, symptoms, your family history and any tests that have already been done.

Joint MND & Respiratory Medicine

A monthly clinic is held at the Bristol Royal Infirmary (Sleep Unit), University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.
